This weekend: Celebrate blues around Atlanta

It’s time for another blues-filled week!

The big news is the International Blues Challenge Fundraiser, sponsored by the Atlanta Blues Society, on Saturday at Darwin’s, with the winners of the Atlanta Blues Challenge performing. The money raised will go to help with the performers’ expenses in Memphis. No Solution, the youth group, will kick things off and solo/duo winners Blind Cadillac and band winner Markey Blue will carry things on into the evening. It all starts at 8 pm!  Come on out and congratulate Darwin’s and help out the bands, plus have an awesome time! I will also be signing Southern Crossroads: Georgia Blues and donating $4 a book to the cause!

Plenty of other good stuff is happening this weekend too. Take a look.
