New live music venues for Metro Atlanta

We went to Subourbon Social Club and Raw Bar in Kennesaw last weekend to see ROger “Hurricane” Wilson and The Breeze Kings and really enoyed the place. It is a venue for all sorts of music, including blues, country, and rock. The menu includes a number of types of oysters , shrimp, pizza and salads and there are mixed drinks as well as the bourbon you would expect from the name. Pretty cool place and something Kennesaw certainly needed.

We have not been to Durango Woodfire Grill in Duluth,  which has its grand opening this weekend, bu starting out with The Breeze Kings is a very good sign. Looking at their projected schedule, it looks like they will be featuring blues regularly.

It is always good to see live music venues proliferating. Be sure to check these out if you are in the area.
