This weekend: Marching into the blues in and around Atlanta

It’ a full weekend of bblue in  Atlanta. Let’ jut count it on down! Hey if you are  at Darwin’ Saturday night, stop by and ay Happy Anniverary to Ken and me! It’ actually Friday but we are celebrating all weeken. After all, we’ve been happily together for 16 years now!

Friday

Blind Willie’s celebrates its 30th anniversary with Sleepy Lebeef and the  Blacktop Rockets.   Heather Luttrell is at Darwin’s and Cod y Matlock  is at Fat Matt’s. Brandon Reeves visits Center Street Tavern in Acworth and Mike Veal is at Naopleon’s Grill in Decatur. Barry Richman is at Nik’s Place in Marietta and Chicago Joe Jones is at Northside Tavern. Tribute celebrates the Allman Brothers at Steve’s Live Music. The Larry Griffith Band is at Two Urban Licks.
       
Saturday

Gracie Cirran m is  at Darwin’s and Blind Willie’s continues its 30th anniversary celebration with Sleepy LaBeef and the Shadows and The Blacktop Rockets. Frankie’s Blues Mission is at Fat Matt’s  and Michelle Malone is at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur. The  Rainmen are at Napoleon’s Grill and Mojo Hand is at Nik’s Place. Cody Matlock is at Northside Tavern and Brandon Reeves is at Parma Tavern in Buford. Leonard Blush is at Shorty’s Pizza and The Larry Griffith Band is at Two Urban Licks.     
        
Sunday

Blind Willie’s presents Walterfest, a benefit, with music by  Joe McGuinness, Heather Luttrell, Sinsear, Sinsear,Tyler Reeve, racy Bales, Bubba Hall, Julie Gribbl, and BrookeTaylor. The Billy George Duo hosts  the Blues Brunch at Cypress Street Pint & Plate and Snake legs iss at Fat Matt’s. Uncle Sugar is at Northside Tavern and Highlands Bar an Grill in Marietta has a blues jam.
